WD 40

WD-40 is a registered trademark widely used in various areas such as penetration oil (cleaner, lubricant and anti-corrosive solution). It is sold in several countries, among which, the Brazil.

Developed by Norm Larsen (who then worked for the Rocket Chemical Company) in 1953 to be used as water Eliminator and anti-corrosion in electrical circuits. Initially WD-40 had been used for the maintenance and upkeep of NASA and missiles on the fuselage of aircraft. But it wasn`t long before they were discovered and many other uses for WD-40.
